Should George Allen lose re-election for his "Macaca" gaffe?

Presumably the NAACP is talking about more than racial stereotypes when they mention "Jim Crow Jr," because pretty much all races suffer from this, as any White rap-artist, Jewish non-banker, Asian C-student or Native American teetotaler can attest.

 

Well, if he does so in his capacity as a Senator, he sets a questionable example for other citizens, doesn't represent the Senate very well, and, a-la Trent Lott, probably dredges up some old bad memories. Kind of like if a manager were to start publicly using racial slurs in front of his employess.

I gotta say, though, there are so many people, especially in a state like Virginia, that have these kinds of skeletons in their closets that this just will not hurt his Senate or Presidential Primary chances. As if George Bush speaking at Bob Jones "no interracial dating until 2000" University hurt his.

 

you have been passionately defending a US senator for publicly calling a south indian man "macaca" in public twice despite the fact that he has after met him twice and even adds "welcome to america" to the insult

then you say that you are a south indian but do not represent them..
so I SUGGESTED maybe you're mixed or caucasian-looking or light skinned.. that should explain why you do not empathize with sidharth who is brown skinned..

then now you are in outrage and call it nastiness and me a racist and don't give me the same benefit of the doubt that you gave senator allen who blatantly called someone else a monkey while I mereely suggested you are mixed..

IMO this just destroys all your credibility and exposes you as the hypocrite, drama queen, or attention w**** that you really are..

 

Doesn't that make your claim and your whole effort of defending his action even more ridiculous? Didn't you say that since you are an Indian decent, and you don't mind people calling you Macaca, so the rest of Indian people shouldn't take offense? Then, you started that "lecture" of free speech, open mind, etc etc. All of a sudden, you admitted that you are lying, again? Well, that shouldn't surprise anyone at all. Keep playing.
