Well, it was more of an "experiment", just to see what would happen...more playfulness ya know....I figured no one was going to take me seriously and believe it. But everyone did! It was too funny!

You will...because the beauty of the internet is annoymity. Today I'm NewYorker, tomorrow I might be someone else.....

But don't worry, I've growing tired of debate and discussion, so I doubt I'll post much anymore for you to respond to....but you will always have to wonder if a new poster comes along....could it be....?

dude, i don't want you to get banned or anything. hell, i don't care about you at all. however, you'd probably be better off just admitting it was a dumbass thing to do and move on.

FYI, skin color has nothing to do with being Indian, just as skin color has nothing to do with being American. In fact, some Indian models are immigrants from Eastern Europe, they are no less Indian than you, as you all know by now.

I don't think anyone would have cause to distrust you, or to believe it was a joke.

I will always start off with trust unless someone shows themselves to be untrustworthy, or says things that are hard to believe. It isn't hard to believe that someone on the board coulde be from Indian ancestory.

dumbass? I thought it was pretty clever myself. Nothing ventured nothing gained...

Besides what was I risking? My credibility in an internet message board? It's not like this is real life ya know...

NewYorker, sometimes you just gotta admit when you're beat and know to fold. I enjoy D&D as much as the next guy, and to present a disssenting point of view is good, but it has to done well with reasoning, facts, arguments, etc. I believe ample proof has been provided about the George Allen thing that at the very least, it's not simply a "gaffe," and while it's been fun to refute your attempts to spin the situation in defense of him, it's reduced to a level where you have to lie? That's pretty sad. And now you're just saying it was for laughs and not caring about the BBS despite being actively attention whoring. To put that next to your claim that you just want to bring intellectual debate and different perspectives, it's not sad anymore, it's just low.

No, no one is going to wonder that. Everyone will just know that anytime NewYorker posts the words were written by a deceitful twit.

boo hoo, the weird thing is that you guys think I'm some sort of right-wing nut. I claimed to be Indian to see what kind of curve that would throw people, and their response was that I must not be 100% Indian! How hilarious is that? I was going to admit the truth, sometimes you have to conduct an experiment to see what happens.

This is supposed to be fun...look, we're not going to change the world here...this is an opportunity to explore - so do it...and stop being such so high and all mighty.

fooled? I though I was the one who exposed you for the liar and fake that you are.. you probably not even from new york but from some small town in virginia..

again you're so proud that I uttered the word "mixed".. big deal.. is that really why you started this thread? to see if you can con someone into saying that word?

I think you started this thread hoping that people would I agree with you that Allen's macaca "gaffe" was blown out of proportion but was oeverwhelmed by the opposite responses and you ended up defending unsucessfully and lying and digging youself in a hole too deep..

The point of the D&D forum is to discuss controversial and contentious issues sincerely and fairly seriously. Topics like abortion, war/peace, life/death, genocide, race, discrimination cannot really be taken too lightly especially by people who have been personally affected. That's why it was formed out of the Hangout because there were those who didn't want to do that and those who did. Your trolling behaviour is simply being discourteous to those of us trying to discuss issues seriously.

If that's not what you want, then you should not be in this forum. Each forum has its own purpose and reason for existence and should be respected, not derailed. The GARM is for talking about Rockets related stuff, NBA dish for NBA in general, hangout for light-hearted fun topics, etc and we're all suppose to respect these forums and not hijack them contrary to their purpose. But not only have you derailed threads, now you are trying to derail this very forum by trying "to have fun with it" through obvious trolling.

Of course I'm not a mod and I can't force you and you can continue to disrespect this forum by your continued disruptive behavior. The most we can all do is to just ignore you (which from this point forward I suggest something we should all do) knowing you're not here to discuss things seriously.

Right wing strictness is much preferred to right wing calls for the glory days in which we could all enjoy a good racist joke. But both are preferred to masquerading as a minority to prove a point about how racism is not only no big deal but is actually something we should all embrace. Of all the nutty things posted by all the nutty wingers that have posted here, I think that is actually the most extreme version of proud racism we have ever seen on this board. Congratulations. Your parents must be very ashamed.

The basis of being right-wing is to judge and not embrace. Many left-wing liberals are guilty of the same kind of assumptions and judgements as those on the right.

I'm not in support of racist comments...in fact I'm against it...but as one who feels the need to always question and make sure I'm not falling into any kind of trap, I often take the opposite stance when I discuss with other people...in this way, I can find out if there is any flaws in my own thinking and beliefs.

Of course, you and others here will not believe that...because it's too hard to understand why someone would actually take the opposite side at times of what they believe and sometimes take the side in which they believe. For me, it's how I learn more and understand my own thinking.

After all that's happen, I'm not going to be allowed to perform this exercise anymore of course...I know that...my days of provoking thought and discussion here are pretty much over....as many said, my credibility is shattered, and no one will buy my posts anymore - since they won't know what I'm actually about.

But it's been a great learning experience, and I've gained a lot from this experiment - so I have no regerts...

I'm glad the threads I've started and posted in have provoked such strong responses and livid debates. I'm happy to see that -really. For the last week and a half, the livliness of the debate has been more then entertaining, it's been downright illuminating. So again, no regrets....and of course, my days on D&D are probably done....but that's ok.

    Good luck to you.

By the way, I have never stated my race for certainity...the only person who actually knows is tycoonchip and clutch. I could be white...or Indian, or Black, hispanic, or something...but does the color of my skin really matter? Does it?
