I can't see it being economical unless the order limit was like 15 bucks. And that's a lot of damn food.
Big pizzas and big portions of chinese food stay hot. Sometimes if you even just wait to get home to eat, fast food is cold, especially the fries. Stale cold fries are not worth tipping for.
I bought that double stack on April 20th, 2010. I put it in the fridge for 3 days before I pulled it out. I ripped the bread off as it was stuck to the burger on both sides (less on the side with the condiments). I broke down the meant (which was very, very hard meat). I noticed those little white pieces inside and outside of the meat. I wish the image was more clear, but the last one shows them. Don't eat this stuff.
a friend from high school started a similar deal in the heights area. you call him and he will pick up and deliver food for you. the fee is % based, but there is a $4 minimum to make it worth his while. the reason fast food restaurants dont do this is probably b/c its not profitable.
What's your point? You put a burger in the fridge, likely not sealed in ANY way, just in the wrapper...and in three days it was hard crap. Then you show super close-up pictures of chewed up looking gnar-gnar pieces as if this is supposed to prove anything. We all know this stuff isn't good for us, but in moderation...
Because the food isn't worth waiting for, you could probably broil a better tasting burger in your oven in the amount of time it takes to deliver it. I've never fried chicken myself, but from what the security guard/farmer at work explained to me (chicken, flour, skillet, oil) it's pretty easy. Plus they have franchises every five streets in each direction (33 in Omaha alone); so they probably couldn't even clarify delivery territory.
I sealed it VERY TIGHT in a sandwich bag. Don't assume. Oh, and I looked at the burger before putting it in the fridge too. Those small white pieces are ALL OVER IT.

Again, I think we can all agree here that this stuff is bad for us. But you're just showing pictures of nasty looking, chewed up pieces of three day old burger and saying, "Don't eat this stuff."
1) No one chewed it. 2) Any food stored in the fridge for a few days should still be edible. 3) It is never good to eat.
Probably wouldn't be worth it for the fast food companies. But McDonalds should serve breakfast all day.
Come on SirCarles, do you really think I don't know what onions look like? There were a couple of blobs that were green (I didn't want to mention that earlier). They looked like boogers but they were not. I love doing this stuff on 4/20.
All y'all mustve never heard of Fast for delivery they deliver meals for $5 and have monthly fees depending on how many different places you wish to order from. If you have the budget and I'd reccomend this. You can order ahead, and that's what I do for breakfast before work every morning (chick fil a, and ihop usually)
LOL that asian chick on the homepage is totally breaking the 4th wall... Click on "How it Works"... that dude in Step 3 is carrying a Big Mac the size of a microwave!
