Manimal would be sweet to start.

5 mins each half to give us size and energy
    And backup Capela.

But it's ptobprob too late for that Gordon will start.

While it sure seems like Gordon being fed super-open threes by Paul in the second unit was a match made in heaven, that's not going to be what we get. EG will be starting.

The question is which Eric Gordon shows up, and what will our coach do. If the Gordon that can't miss shows up, leave him in, and get him the ball. If the Gordon that's off...and then starts passing up shots...and then starts trying to drive to the basket shows up, please sit him down ASAP, Coach. If Pretender Coach BZ had had the balls to do that, we'd have the 2nd seed.

Gordon is there to shoot and make threes. Absurdly long and open threes shot without hesitation. As soon as he stops doing that, it's time to put in someone else.

The playoffs will be very physical. EG is a tough guy, but he will tire out against bigger forwards, thus it's best to keep him fresh as a 6th man.

We cannot start Faried as we need 48 minutes of "elite" rebounding vs the Jazz. They got lots of it, we don't.

43% on 3s since the All Star Break, 48% in the last 7 games.

    Let the man start!

Let them worry about us not the other way around. I cant wait to see helpless Mitchell face and angry Gobert

The playoffs will get more physical. EG will get into foul trouble and tire out. The refs usually give the benefit of the doubt to the bigger player. Put Tuck on Ingles and Faried on Crowder or Favors. Tuck can switch back to Favors and Crowder too. EG should defend Mitchell, when Harden takes a breather or when he is guarding a bigger player.

    Capela(36) Faried(12)
    Tucker(40) Faried(8)
    Gordon(20) House(28)
    Harden(40) Gordon(8)
    Paul(40) Gordon(8)

Thats how I'd split up the minutes for the playoffs if I was coach vs the Jazz.

Gordon deserves to start for now. But if we are getting beat in the rebounding battle badly we need to consider Tucker starting.

Note: obvs Nene Rivers Green Shumpert need to be ready to step in for injuries / foul trouble / bad play

Hell I'll give you when I'd rotate them.

    Capela(7)Faried(10)Capela(7)
    Tucker(10)Capela(4)Tucker(10)
    Gordon(5)House(14)Gordon(5)
    Harden(12)Paul(12)
    Paul(8)Gordon(8)Harden(8)

    Paul 40 mins? I’d reduce to 28.
    This should be 4-1 series.

Did you watch the Nets beat the Sixers last night? D'Angelo Russell missed everything in the first half. Then he couldn't miss in the second half. Sometimes that's how it goes. If you yank a player every time they're on a cold streak they can lose their confidence. One of the things D'Antoni gets praised for is his confidence in his players. So what I'm saying is your idea of common sense isn't very sensible.

No I mean he shot decently the first quarter and then proceeded to shoot terribly especially in the third quarter and early fourth so why keep him in?

It should all depend on Matchups. That's why MDA is being paid the big bucks.. adjust as needed.

EG is a definite X-Factor for us.

His off ball game is on Klay Thompson level and (even though he doesn't do this as often as we'd like) when he drives, he's usually getting bumped for a foul (whether the refs call it is another thing) or getting to the rim and finishing.

He has always been a key point to our success throughout the season. There's good reason that we're now playing great while EG is having fun again.

I can’t believe this is still a thing.

    Gordon should start.

Our “bench” is never weak. Paul or Harden or both are always on the floor.

Gordon is our best volume catch and shoot player from 3.

I was gonna say, Gordon ain’t just there for offense. He made Mitchell work hard last night. Scrappy defender and underrated on that end. Of course we want him hitting open 3s too, but that goes for anyone. Keep him as a starter until he stops doing that.
