Should Brooks be in the Three Point Contest?

Well lets look at the stats.

Of the players who have taken at least 100 3pt attempts this year, Brooks is ranked 25th in percentage made at .392

So no, I don't think he should be in the contest.

 

Aaron Brooks has a good chance of making the all star team , CP3 out, and BRoy is out indefenitely with that harmstring..

 

Rule out skills comp.

I honestly agree, I don't think he has the size or strength to put up 30 spot up 3 point shots with the best snipers in the league. Most of the past champions have been guys that are 6'6+ that require very little strength to get the ball to the basket. Guys like brooks, jennings, and Iverson need to shoot jump shots to hit that shot consistently and they just don't have the time to do it in the 3 point contest.
