And that explains the extra hip and elbow Horry through in there, not to mention the forearm to Bell's face after the play. But your creative, I am sure you can try to twist an explaination for that one too.

It's not my view of an altercation, its the league's view. Amare was also clearly headed toward the altercation(between Bell and Horry), there's no way around it. Everyone saw it. That's the rule, and its stupid for him to get suspended for that.

Where was Nash trying to go? LOL

Uh, he was trying to get the ball past midcourt so his team could avoid an 8 second violation at a critical point in the game. He was being a smart PG. He did have the corner as well, it was not "occupied" until Horry went out of his way to bodycheck a guy with a filthy, despicable play that you have to be just crazy to defend.

well i know he's getting the ball up court but why run at full right at horry, who is very close to the baseline? you'd have to expect a foul right? why not cut back into the middle...away from horry.

look it was a hard foul and uncalled for. I think thought it was odd how it played out.

Donkey, Cheap Shot Rob was nowhere close to the baseline when he delivered his thuggish body check at Nash.

You need to post less nonsense here.

LOL maybe Horry's blow caused more than one guy to be disoriented.

the thing that pisses me off the most about stern's response was that he was trying to get the "correct" call, not the "fair" call... WHY THE HELL IN A PROFESSIONAL GAME WOULD YOU NOT WANT THE FAIR CALL??? how does that make sense? Correctness at the cost of fairness if much too high to pay espeically in a nation-wide professional league. Just doesn't make sense to me. at least it didn't happen to the rockets. i think clutchfans.net would explode...

David Stern's interview on EPSN made me want to puke on his sick face. The guy is such a tool and says "They [league owners] pay me big bucks to take criticism from the media, fans and now jabs from PTI" WTF this guy will do anything for money even bend over and taking it up his stream?

Video of David Stern's interview on PTI: http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/ivp/index?id=2872889 He is such a jerk: "...what was in Amare's head when he went there?" It is pretty obvious to every human being that Amare was concerned with his teammate being roughed up by Horry and possibly got injured. I am so sick of this punk.

Everyone's acting like Amare got in Horry's face. He wasn't even close to the altercation.

And if I didn't see what happened and only listen to what Stern had to say, I would have thought that Amare was like Stephen Jackson during the altercation in Detroit or something really bad. Stern's face in the interview was one of the most disgusting of any human being I have ever seen, not only in the real world, but including movies as well.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw the video. Amare was taking his own sweet time WALKING toward the general direction (not really clear if it's toward Horry or Nash) of the incident. He showed no intention in getting into a fight. He is suspended by his stupidity, not his involvement in the altercation, as the rule is supposed to do.

but the reality was that amare was already off the bench BEFORE the Bell-Horry altercation began.
