Brooks is garbage. His entire offensive game is based completely on his shooting from downtown. When he is not hitting his threes, I have yet to see a bigger waste of space on both ends of the court.
Look at Lin's resume, he's held in check or locked down a list of quality point guards this year. THis isn't hockey where goalies have 90+ save percentages. What % of the time does a man have to lock up his defender to be considered a good defender in your book?
Brooks probably stays in front of his man better than Lin, but Lin has more length and can reach for the ball more. It's probably a wash. Gimme the guy that can shoot

One positive thing I will say about AB's D is that he doesn't suck at D due to lack of effort. He does try and tries hard usually. I will give that to him. He sucks at D, simply because he is too short, slight, and light.
Haha this is blatant racism. More than a wash. Lin can finish way better than brooks too. I don't think it makes a difference either way
Lin and Beverley can "occasionally" hit a shot too. The difference is, Brooks takes about 18 seconds of the shot clock before he decides to do something constructive. And of the 3 PGs, only Lin can finish at the rim.
