Shots on goal determing W's?

    Exactly. Our success is directly related to how much Yao is involved. Steve should be involved, but never take more than 15 shots.

    Get the ball to Yao and we win. It is that simple. When he is aggressive I can't think of any center who can slow him down.

    now if the idiots on our team realized to pass the ball to yao for once.

    Case in point, today.

    Once the Mavs implimented their zone, the Rockets totally lacked the requisite patience to get the ball into Yao. If he wasn't immeidately open, they did something else. That'd be fine if it often resulted in a high % shot - but it usually didn't.

    Yao would often fight hard for positioning - and win - but the team didn't have the patience to get him the ball. And by the 3rd q, the Mavs had lured Steve and Cat into a pissing contest that they were destined to lose.

    Very disappointing. Yao was open. The team failed to get him the ball.
