    The whole thing is a litte nebolous. As far as I understood his actual name was David but he called himself Ali or got called like that. Maybe it was a middle name.

    There's absolutely no sign the killer had something to do with Islam. He rather hated Arabs and Turks and considered himself a nationalist German. He met the Afghan kid in psychiatry, who got arrested now cause he probably knew about the gun and the killing phantasies and didn't report it to the police.

    The bomb in Ansbach on the other hand has a jihadist background. Fortunately the Syrian refugee didn't have a ticket for the festival and is the only dead person so far.
