Because he kicked in the back exit and came in that way it seems. Didn't even go through the theater. Mass shootings are becoming too common.

The % of planes that experience violent turbulence is much higher than you would assume.

Fortunately they are not as common as you think. There are shootings but the last mass shooting like this in the US was in Tuscon when Gabby Giffords was shot and the last one with this many casualties was at Virginia Tech.

This is so sad, these people think they're going to go down in history being so imfamous for these shootings... When in all reality, nobody EVER remembers your name, just the incident:

Columbine - no one remembers assailants name

VTech shooting - no one remembers assailants name

DKR Massacre - no one WILL REMEMBER YOUR NAME!!!

Do us a favor and just put a bullet through your own skull during the movie that would be tramatic but still the only person that deserves to die does?

I like the sentiment but a lot of people remember the names of those people.

Saw this story this morning, christ I really don't understand what's the matter with people. Doing that to innocent people is about cruel and evil as it gets.

The baby thing is mindblowing on so many levels.

I remember the names of the Columbine and UT shooters.

    Not exactly an uncommon thing.

P.S. Who brings an infant to a midnight movie...?

I don't get what the big deal is with the 6 year old? Its summer, he's out of school. Probably fell asleep during the movie anyways. Doubt he remembers much of the movie 2 weeks from now. I'd be more upset with parents bringing in babies that cry to a premiere.

I do and I suspect we will be hearing the names "Dylan Klebold" and "Eric Harris" brought up a lot more in the next few days.

Unfortunately narcissistic mass murders frequently get there wish that people remember who they are. Timothy McVeigh's name is well known, Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy murdered people more than 30 years ago and those names are still recognized, and Lizzie Borden is part of American Folk Culture.

Has he said what his motives were or anything?

Also, heard on the radio the 3month old baby is in stable condition.
