To me, its more about getting spot up guys. The rox have stocked up on the idea of getting 1 dimensional guys, then when we see a guy like wafer, everyone wants to proclaim him to be the best thing since sliced bread. Over the last few years, they have made a effort to get more athletic, but their best athletes are small guys. The don't have any big, multi tool players. When u watch the denver v lakers series, its clear how much better a team like denver finishes around the basket compared to houston. You don't see a lot of pump faking or head faking close to the rim. All u see is explosion and finishing.

The murphy idea is intruging because he is a good rebounder and have a good stroke, but the injuries he seem to have every yr is concerning. Another guy that is cheaper that kinda makes sense is randmanovich. He's a tweener, but is a good shooter. I wish he would get back to his seattle days and starts attacking the rim more.He makes 6m vs 10m from murphy.

I honestly would love to get Jason Terry off of Dallas's hands. Just watching that guy play I am just thinking what it would be like to see Mcgrady move to the three again and have terry run the two spot.

Why is it in a "Shooter Wanted" thread I see mention of this garbage Corey Maggette who shot 25% from 3 this year?

I like the way smith is played Kobe last night. That was great defense.

Vujacic was not only a worse shooter this season than Barry and Battier, but Brooks and Artest as well.

Battier, Brooks, Barry n Wafer. We have enough shooters. But wouldnt mind a backup SF/SG that can shoot better than these guys.

i wouldn't count barry considering he rarely can get on the floor and this upcoming year is his last year.

Because there are more things to do than just shoot 3pt shots....

Corey shot 46% from the field last year, can you name a single Rocket perimeter player who did as well?

Rox already have too many shooters as it is. All the guards and wings are considered as good 3p shooters.

I rather have another player that can slash. We saw the difference made with AB, Lowry and Wafer. Their ability to go the rim makes a whole of a difference on the offense. And it actually open up spot up shooting for the shooters that rox already have.

That's a very good post, up until you suggested bring in Radmanovich for 6 million. I'll pass on that. The chances of that paying off seem way too slim.

Sasha and Fisher for Battier, I am sure Lakers will comply.

I like radman because of his skillset. I think playing in La kinda changed his game a lot. In seattle, he was kinda more like a big sf who can shoot. He was also better at putting the ball on the floor also. He's that kind of guy that I think fits with a guy like yao at the 4 spot. I'm not advocating trading scola, landry, orr shane for him,but I like the thought of a guy of that size playing the 4 stretching the floor.

All we need to do is find a young Dale Ellis buried on some team's bench.

If everything works out perfectly, and he becomes the player many thought he'd turn into, then yes he'd be a great addition. I just think the chances of that are very low, and his recent history doesn't suggest that's what will happen. For 6 million, it's too much of a gamble.

In this day and era with all the teams, you won't find loaded teams like that anymore. I mean to think detlef was coming off the bench says a lot about the talent on that team. I doubt u can find that guy. What do u think about my radman suggestion?

Are you talking about Vlad Radmonovich? If so, pass...in a big way.

I agree with this, waive goodbye to Barry and Cook for Magette's bad deal. He gives us insurance at the 2/3 in case Artest, Battier, or Shemac if she actually comes back aren't playing well.

Dude can score with the best of them and would be great practice with him going against Shane and Ron. Dude has no choice but to get better.

If you want a shooter ben gordons the man.

Question is, would we have to give up artest?

    Brooks/Lowry
    Gordon/Wafer
    Tmac/Battier
    Scola/Landry
    Yao/Hayes

That looks like a prety good offensive line up....
