yao and tmac should shoot the same amount of shots. I'm not hitting the panic button, but i don't want this to become a pattern.
It's not TMAC shoot too much, it's Yao himself was reluctant to shoot even if he had the ball and could shoot. Yao himself made the decision not to shoot but pass the rock out. No one commanded Yao to do that, and it's his own decision. So don't blame TMAC on this please.
Yao is a center and when he is located in the low post, his job is to score first, not pass first. Actually he is not a good passer as people hyped. He is labeled as "MVP level player", "dominant center" but 21pts/11rbs in 38 minutes is hardly called dominant.
if 20-10 isn't cominant then what is? how many players last year averaged over 20-10? 4? seems pretty elite to me.
Sound like you didn't watch the game at all. Even Shaq passed the ball out under that kind of double team. Yao was ignored so many times down low that scoreing 21 points is already a surprise. When was the last time Yao only scored 21 points on 75% shooting? He already had the attacking mentality, but mentality means nothing if he can't get the ball in the low post first.
Dude, nothing personal. We are just talking about the game and players. You are free to express your own opinions but you can save it if you clueless.
I didn't say he should not have passed the ball to opened ones. He had quite a few chances to attack the basket but he decided to draw the double then pass. That's not the Yao the couch wants to see. In high post, he can be a passer but in low, he has to be a finisher.
LOL. I don't think a fob is in a position to tell me to learn "more English". Calling someone "a dumb" is simply hilarious.
