Can't blame him for this lost.
When you lose this epically , it's everyone's fault. Prime or not.

Kinda reminds me when the JVG Rockets lost game 7 against the Mavs.

Yep even Charles has said this at the start of the year he's been saying it.

The Old Kobe was simply could not be defended. He would only beat himself with his poor shot selection at times. This Kobe is guardable and this Kobe barely even drives to the lane.

Yeah he's only 32, but remember how many years he's played, how many injuries he's played through. I'd say he's passed his prime, just passed it though but I can't believe he's going to turn it around next year and go back to being a top 5 player. I think it'll get worse and his dedication to the sport will prevent a steep decline ala Tmac or Iverson.

I think hes going to try to come back stronger next year but his body wont let him. When you get up their in age your body wont do what your mind tell it to do.

Lebron won the MPV twice, his team had the best record in the NBA those 2 seasons, and he didn't reach the finals in either of those seasons?

AND HE'S ONE OF THE BEST????? talk about a pure choke .

Not shocking at all. Just means he's played in a ton of playoff games.

A lot of your perception of Jordan is skewed by how good Pippen and the rest of the Bulls were. You are talking about a team that won 55 games without Jordan and had a MVP candidate in Pippen. I can agree that i can't picture Jordan losing this way either but it might just be because the team around him was so good that it made his greatness seem even greater.

dirk's of the same age as kobe. why's he still in his prime? kobe may have started his nba career a few years earlier as a bench player, but dirk has been playing international ball in summers his whole career. dirk played more international ball than yao.

Jason Terry is like among the top Rocket killers of all time.
That's deceiving cause this Mavericks team is extremely deep.

Let's not forget Jason Kidd either.

I'm nothing talking about the teams, just talking about Kobe and Mike. I dont care how bad your team is you dont go out there and quit like Kobe did in 06, something I've never seen from Mike.

You can say that the Bulls was a good team without Mike, but the bottom line he was still the main reason they won six rings.

I think some people forget that Pippen didnt play that well the last ring Mike won.

i said he's a top 15 player of all time in my original post. i'm just shocked that he's part of those 3 laker playoff blowout losses.

blowouts like that in the playoffs are rare. and they usually require a lot of things to fall into place for the winning team for that to happen.

what i learn from watching sports is that when you win, nobody cares.

Dirk Career Games Played - 1105
Kobe Career Games Played - 1310

That's two and a half more seasons worth of NBA games with half of them being playoff games that are much more intense. As far as Kobe being a bench player goes, Kobe played more minutes his rookie year than Dirk did his rookie year. Kobe's game is also based more on athleticism than Drik's is. It's common knowledge among basketball fans that big men tend to last a lot longer than guards do. I don't think international play makes up for all of that especially when Kobe has done some himself and Dirk has sat out a couple of times in his career. All factors considered it makes a lot of sense that Kobe would be much more worn down than Dirk.

it's true. its kinda embarassing to be involved in 3 of the worst blow outs.

but tmac_1, u are such a kobe hater. kobe is past his prime. he played 15 years, with plenty of injuries. and the fact that hes still a top 15 in the league is saying something. jason kidd only played 1 year more than kobe and he's not even close ont he same level.
