Yep...and Comcast is now making the argument that the Astros don't have standing to contest the bankruptcy at all...that only the operating company for CSN does. Dogs chasing tails.

    It needs to die already.

Well said, Max. I agree with every word of this post. Especially the part about CSN incurring the debt.*

*I actually have no idea what it means and don't care either. I just want to know when I can watch the Rockets on TV.

The Astros are trying. The bankruptcy is designed to stop them.

But for the bankruptcy, CSN Houston would be history. Even Comcast is saying that now.

It's just a matter of time, I believe. Almost certainly the Rockets are exploring their options for how to get their games on the air as soon as possible.

Those of you wanting to see the Rockets sooner rather than later need to hope the Astros win their motion to dismiss the bankruptcy.

This logic completely goes against the axiom that Crane and the Astros are evil and the entire reason the Rockets and Astros aren't shown in non-Comcast customers homes. Therefore, Major is completely wrong.

I don't know who Jim Crane can run to now and get anywhere near what he thinks he deserves. He's been been proven to be a dishonest, stubborn and selfish business partner.

I hope the Rockets go back to Fox Sports and Comcast shuts the Astros and their 0 rating out of Comcast by lowballing the hell out of whatever carriage deal the Astros new provider presents. It would serve that jackass right.

If it is blown up someone will owe someone $100MM. Right now it is owed by the partnership that is the station. Blowing the partnership up would seem to create more problems

So, with which female in Granville's family did Jim Crane have relations? Sheesh.

People make loans and extend credit to companies that can't afford to pay them back all the time. To the extent the partnership has any remaining assets, they can be sold off to satisfy the debt.

I doubt the station has those type of assets, not even close

Dude....it's me. You know I was just joking around (due to my paralyzing fear of not being able to watch the Rockets for another year).

I would hope so. I wish they would come out and say it, but I realize they can't.

Yep. Jim Crane should be focused on what is best for the Rockets/Comcast. It is what any good businessman would do.

Meanwhile the Rockets/Comcast should not care what is best for the Astros.

Agreed....something is better than nothing. Deals go south all the time. You salvage what you can and move on.
