actually, statistically cops are more likely to be corrupt and commit crimes than citizens. its just like how people who work for cps are something like 5 times more likely to abuse children. criminals and people who get off on power trips seek out positions of authority.
After throughly reading this thread and reading the D&D it amazes me how many people would welcome a police state (look it up if you need to) w/ open arms. You have been lied to. Work more. Buy more. Be Happy. This is not here. -~)^=zptoq!u^(,"
i dont know why people have to take one side or the other on this issue. You can easily say the cop did a poor job of handling it, and that the kids were also not very cooperative and even somewhat antigonizing. we still never see what happened before hand. Whether or not they were told to stop, leave or whatever. that doesnt make an excuse for or validate the cop from not controlling the situation better (and yes, that doesnt exclude force just a different manner which it was applied)
LOL. Delve into hyperbole much? How does wanting to know all the facts about this incident before rushing to judgement translate into being cool with a police state?
He was implying (really ordering) for you (and I guess ima_drummer) to both go. He never said he was going. I have to admit that I have seen my fair share of insults (and I have been a part of them both on the giving side and receiving side) but that line by cson makes me think of the George Costanza line, "Oh yeah, well the jerk store called and they are running out of YOU!!"
well I disagree. Now if Ted McGinley posted "Hispanic?" in any thread here, then I would agree with you about that phrase jumping the shark.
lol. i see your point. the only difference is that george's comments could actually be perceived as an insult. Rather we are stuck merely guessing what this guy was trying to say.
