Good point, but with our play and possibility of only having one pick who would we target in the draft? We can't get a top 5 with the Knicks pick and if we make the playoffs we lose our other pick. Again I'm not for tanking but if we end up with a middle of the pack pick I just see us making too many lateral moves. Yes, amare scares me but it somewhat brings hope that we could get another good player to sign here and with lowrys play (or deron if we get lucky) we can def be a top team in the west for a while, along with making Toyota center packed and lively like the Yao and Mac era.
Well...I was amazed that he went from the comfort of Steve Nash's setups to having a near-career season with the Knicks last season. I would also say, when injuries catch up with a star, the falloff is always quick and steep.
