I saw this thread title, saw 3 pages and thought it was an old thread lol. I would love having Bogut here. He's so underrated and such a beast on defense. I would love to have him and Lowry to build around.

Cmon bro, you can't be serious. Have you been watching the Rockets for the last year and a half? Stats don't lie either, traditional or advanced.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong:

From what I recall, Bogut was actually a decent shooter from mid-range and short, and was having an All-Star type season before he broke his arm 2 years ago. After the surgery, they replaced something in his arm and his range of motion has changed. His shooting form is different from what he used to have, and so his shooting is worse. He can still dunk and rebound and play D, but his mid-range game is terrible, and this was what I remember from last year (before this year's stat support). So, no, I hope the Rockets don't get him because he's probably damaged goods.

Martin and NYK pick for Bogut straight up. Looks good to me.

shoot a injured bogut is better than a useless Thabeet and a work in progress Hill and a bench sulker in bud. I'd do it.. it is time to cash in some chips.

Bout is possibly the best defensive center in the NBA, he is a better man defender than Howard. He is an elite shot blocker and is relentless on defense. He is a good rebounder. He is not a franchise player as he is limited, any chance he had of becoming a 20 pt scorer went out the window 2 yrs ago.

He would be a great addition to establish a defensive presence. Still, you don't want to over pay.

Safe to say his struggles from 3-9 feet (20% this season) is an aberration. Even last season, he shot a reasonable 42% from that range.

I'm a minority in this, but trade Kmart and some of our 09 busts for Bogut....but I WANT STEPHEN JACKSON.

He can score, though differently the Kmart, but he is so underrated on defense and passing.

    Kmart/Flynn/Bud/Jordan/Thabeet ( :( ) for Bogut, Captain Jack and a swingman.

Flame me, but Stephen Jackson is tough and can flat out play. He has Houston roots and has never played under a "players' coach" a la McHale.

Yeah guys, let's trade for a guy who can't even shoot his own free throws!

They wont trade Bogut. They need to fire Skiles. Bucks have a solid team from 1-10.

They wanted Jordan Hill and Chase Budinger. I wonder if they still do? I really want Sanders.

Bucks are in limbo right now.
Do they try to add vets and make a run (ala Stephen Jackson and Dunleavy acquisition)
or do they blow it up and get as many picks as possible?

Whichever way they decide to go, we can help.

    Why do people like Sanders?

I'm on the Dalembert train. I believe Big D is good enough to be a starting C on a championship team. No need to overspend to get Bogut, or even Superman. I'd rather acquire Batum for a long 2 or KLove for an amazing 4. This coming draft ought to produce something.

    I'd do:
Scola, Martin, knicks 1st rounder and, filler.
    for:
    Bogut and filler.
Move PPat, Bogut and, CLee into starting line up with Hill, The Bear and, T-Will coming off the bench.
Gives the Bucks 2 quality starters and the posibility of 2 lotto picks.
Gives us killer rotation at center and more minutes to develop our youngsters.
