I'm sorry to have called you out and shown your lack of heart, despite nothing to lose.

Play left handed only and wear an eye patch.

Pay for his taxi, or even better pay for him to play with you. Transfer the money in the bank account and set the game date. Then on the day, he will pull a McGrady on you.

I might be able to do left handed only. I broke my shooting hand one year during intramurals and learned to shoot crappily left-handed. Don't know about the eye, though, don't you need both eyes for depth perception?

I did play a girl left-handed only spotting 14 in a game to 15, but it forced me to have to stuff all her shots to win. I guess DDQ wants the ladies' treatment? Somehow I doubt even that's enough.

I already offered to pay all $1000 to the winner's charity. That's essentially paying to play. I don't want either of us to get money from it. The point is something good could come out of all this blowhard BS.

Then make it a win-lose situation. Pay him to play with you, like how fans pay to watch NBA (not to watch a team win or lose, but to watch teams play). Pay DD to play with you, but I'm guessing one of you will pull a McGrady on the game day, unless if this epic match is official and known throughout the board

I really really really hope T-Mac is taking all this negative criticism to heart and using it as motivation to prove he's still a top 10 player in this league. I hope 5 months from now people who contiunously post **** like this eat their words.

I wouldn't bet the house on it though.

While T.Mac is on our team you should leave him alone. The problem with America are people like you- ones who do not understand something so they sexualise the person in the opposite gender , thinking that they can drag them down. If you are an educated person, and I always thought you were you should stop this sexist name caling and get beck to our Team and Basketball. Riley dog be a man geta way from all this kid stuff. Y :)

I got an idea. I propose Smooth to challenge JVG for a charity game, to settle the basketball intelligence thing once and for all. :D

It has to be said. So T-Mac might come back strong and do well for a couple of games. Who cares? The real issue is what he puts the Rockets through every year. I call it the Annual McGrady Meltdown.

If he comes back and does even half way well his fanbois here will be singing his praises and claiming he can do no wrong. Rileydog's absolutely right. If the guy wasn't a loser he would have rehabbed the right way before the season started and this would never have been an issue.

With every player you take the good with the bad. Yao's not that great on lateral movement or quickness, but he's got that great shooting touch. And work ethic. With McGrady you're going to get the annual meltdown and the mental/drama issues. It's just not worth it.

I'm pretty sure I could beat Dick Vitale's ass in basketball. Tommy Atlas isn't looking too great these days, I bet I could outbox him.

That wouldn't change the fact that both of those guys know much more than I do about basketball and boxing.

Isn't this SmoothOperator guy the same poster over in the Adelman thread who kept going on and on about how team ball never won anything? I pointed out the 04 Pistons. That's just one team he said, isn't there anything else? I pointed out the showtime Lakers, who from 86-88 had seven guys in double figures over the season and only one guy in both seasons with more than 20 ppg. Haven't heard from him since. I'm not impressed.

Wouldn't a diehard Rockets fan support T-Mac? He is on the Rockets, right?

Yeah they are the same. Definitely. Absolutely.

Not saying T-Mac has done, wrong, yeah, he has, but it's insane to see the amount of people that have turned on him this badly. He deserves criticism, but people are bashing him and attacking him HOURLY.

I, for one, don't believe any current player on the Rockets team deserves this. However, if you feel the need to scapegoat someone, then by all means, go for it. I'm sure that will help!
