Watching a lot of Duke games I think a perfect compliment inside to Yao Ming would be a guy like Sheldon Williams. This guy is a beast defensively and a very good rebounder. His offense is very basic and is not much of a scorer, but he has shown some improvement over the years and I think he could get better in that regard. The Rockets won't be able to draft a guy like Rudy Gay or LaMarcus Aldridge unless the team really stinks it up this year, but if we end up drafting somewhere in the teens we could possibly pick up Williams. Another guy that the Rockets could end up drafting is JJ Redick. I looked up the NBAdraft.net board and I think both JJ Redick and Sheldon Williams are way too high up on the list. I don't either will be drafted until much later on then where they are projected. I like JJ Redick because of his incredible range and great shooting ability--something the Rockets could really use. The only drawbacks to JJ is that he's only 6-4 and somewhat of a liability on defense. Not terrible but decent.

Reddick is a real liability on defense. He could stand to gain some weight and muscle in order to compete with the bigger bodies of the NBA. However, his shot is money and can be extremely clutch.

Williams on the other hand is a great rebounder and is getting better at playing on the post. If he can get some sort of jump shot, he could definitely be a decent power forward.

Is that supposed to be negative? Both of those guys had long and successful careers in the NBA.

Shelden is by far the ugliest player I've ever seen. I have my doubts about his size. I don't think he can block many shots in the NBA, and his scoring will take a large dip as well.

Williams reminds me of Antonio Davis. Similar body and athleticism. If he had a jumper they would be almost identical.
