i think wat wallace did was as much to fire up his teammates then just plain trash talking, when you look at the pistons regular season and post the one thing they did was get bored and started not taking games seriously, and that will be more to their disadvantage once they start to face bonified title contenders.

Today's game proves Sheed needs to just shut up and play.

The Pistons will still win the series but I'm glad it's going back to Cleveland.

Chauncey and Rasheed think they have a dynasty, and now they're tied against a far inferior team because they'd rather talk and complain to the refs than play. If you can't motivate yourself in the playoffs, then just shut up and go home.

I'm proud of the Cavs. Taking control of game 3 when they were down 10 points with 5 mins left in the 3rd quarter showed me something (mostly about LeBron). Today the Pistons came out determined to put the Cavs in their place. For the Cavs to come roaring back and take control in the 4th quarter shows their team has really come together. Nobody can say the Pistons were asleep at the wheel today because of their easy wins in games 1 & 2.

I wonder if every thread here has a Kobe diss....

It was a dumb guarantee to make, they probably played with more pressure on themselves which isn't good. They need to relax and just play their game and realise that they aren't the greatest team in NBA history, but a team that can be beat if they don't play to their maximum abilities.

LeBron's a great player, I wish he would get rid of the headband though.

Here's my line-up in 2k6 with the fantasy draft:

    PG: Nash/ Smush
    SG: Iguodala/ Diaw
    SF: LeBron/ Bruce Bowen
    PF: Evans/ Varejao
    C: Hunter/ Krstic

I wish the Cavs didn't get Hughes, he's such an overrated player.

I was listening to Colin Cowpatch on 790 this morning and he was trying to compare this Pistons team to the great Lakers/Celtics/Bulls teams. How dumb can you be? They haven't even won the championship yet. Sound familiar (like USC)?

Have u seen him without the headband? That forehead is huge! I actually think it's one of the few players that it suits.

To be fair, Rasheed got injured and tried to toughen it out the whole game, but he clearly wasn't in good form last night.

The Pistons still would have won this game had Rasheed been playing healthy, but I don't mind the fact that the Cavs won because it will up the intensity from both sides for the rest of the series.

You just get the feeling that Detroit are cruising through and don't want to put out any real type of effort unless they absolutely have to...I don't like that approach to the game, I think you should ALWAYS respect your opponent no matter how 'inferior' you think they're.

As for the Guaransheed made before last night's game, I honestly think Rasheed didn't like the intensity his team showed the entire series and decided to do something about it...so far it hasn't worked.

On a sidenote, I thought it was complete and utter BS for Cavs fans to be cheering as loudly as they did last night when it looked like Rasheed got injured...an injury is serious business and it's not "funny" by any stretch of the imagination, I don't care if you already dislike that player or not. A classless moment for the city of Cleveland.

call me classless then b/c i would have cheered too if he was talking that trash about my team. i wouldn't wish a career ending injury, but sure would be smiling ear to ear if it meant he was out the rest of the series against my team.

i liked the fact taht he made that guarantee but when he went down, all i thought was, karma's a b****.

Ohh snap man. Can't believe I didnt listen to the Intro. Chamillionaire is like my favorite artist right now and that album is my fav for now too. Listened to every other song except for that. Good call, I'm gonna put that in.

Also, as for Wallace. The overconfidence and bragging got him. It's happened to me before so that's why I'm cautious before I make bold statements like that.
