Lol...but you said in the first post: "we know a Yao-less Rox can win"!!! You're contradicting yourself.

Question is why would we want to dig ourselves a huge hole at Centre when we've got the best Centre in the NBA?

I think Yao is a much bigger asset than Mcgrady but this is actually a better trade for both teams than the one in the other thread. IMO a team of Billups-Tmac-Sheed is much better than Billups-Sheed-Yao because there would be such a huge whole at the 2. Who would start there, Head?

i wouldn't either trade though...especially after this post season.

Honestly, I like Rip way more than Billups or Sheed.

I know. Yao-less Rox can win games, but can't get past first round. Rockets with Yao might get past, but can he stay healthy and if so, can Sheed and Billups take us even further?

    wow... I mean, just wow...

If I'm not missing anything, the only possible reason for trading Yao would be his injury concern -- if you would like to point out any other legit reason to trade away Yao, please feel free to correct me here -- and no, neither "we know rockets can win without yao" nor "we know rockets can't win without yao" is a legit reason to trade him away.

-- and in order to minimize that injury concern, your solution is to trade for two veterans who are well into the 30s and close to the end of their career?

    again... wow... just wow...
