Hilarious.... who are you then, Steve Francis? ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET [This message has been edited by Clutch (edited February 25, 2001).]
Thats B/S. What would make the Rockets feel better would be to overtake the Suns at full strength and totally healthy. Steve, Cat, Dream and Mo are just to competitive to want anything handed to them or to win something by default. They want you best and they want to beat you at your best...period. As high up in the air as Steve gets you can be damn sure that it could have been him on that floor and everyone on the Rockets knows it. Sorry but know way do I think anything about that situation makes the Rockets players feel better. Thats just ludicrous. ------------------
How about speaking for your self Francis3 because there is no way that the Rockets players saw Marion go down and high-fived each other and said "Yes he's out, we'll catch them now!" NOBODY, I repeat NOBODY was happy to see that! By the way, Minnesota is the team we're trying to catch anyway not Phoenix. That makes it even crazier to think the Rockets players were happy to see a Sun go down, or even felt better. ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . .
No im Bryce Drew. ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.
You dufus ! You don't know how they feel either. This is the only part of it that made me happy. Utah coach Jerry Sloan was allowed to pick the replacement free throw shooter for the injured Marion, and chose Chris Dudley, one of the worst free-throw shooters in the league who hadn't played in several weeks. Dudley made both free throws to help clinch it. Haha even though it doesn't help the Rocks ya gotta love it. ------------------
Are you a basketball player that plays in the NBA? YOu dont know what the players can be thinking. Most of them probably are sad for him, but with this injury they might have a little happy feeling that maybe now we can get up there knowing suns are weak and hurt for a loss of a teammate. This is the playoffs, anything goes. ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club. No you've been a condescending A-hole the last couple of threads I saw you in. This thread, the other Marion thread in the "Trades" section, and the ghost thread. You have definitely grated on people's nerves! ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . .
Again, Francis3 rips anyone who says the Rockets aren't happy about because you "can't speak for them"... ... then he proceeds to speak for them. Just puts in to perspective his BS lie about not knowing he posted "free post" in a memorial thread to a police officer who was killed in the line of duty. ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
Oh and you do? What makes you a bigger authority on the situation then us? And no I don't think some professional athletes, the same athletes that know that that fall could have easily have paralyzed him, would be happy to see that. I would bet money that if you went to Mobley or Francis and said "You have two choices, Marion could have been paralyzed on that fall and you get into the playoffs, or he is healthy, and you miss the playoffs" that they would have taken the playoff berth. Maybe it's just me. ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . .
Alright Im really sorry for posting my opinion on what I think. Next time I will agree with the **** you say. ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.
I think that he pushed off a little when he was in the air because he was shocked that someone was jumping over him. Marion has to shoulder some of the blame as well, because he literally JUMPED over a player. That might be amazing that he can jump like that, but he was still jumping over someone. I guess it's just in the eye of the beholder, I could be wrong. But think that pretty much everyone agrees that he didn't do it on purpose. ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . .
WHy are you thanking him mc mark, he didn't say that Starks tried to push him out of the air like you said. It was just the reaction of someone coming down on you from mid-air. ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . .
My God. I was so scared when I saw Marion go down in the replay, because at first I thought he landed on his shoulder. I didn't know it was his head. Damn, I am so concerned. Shawn Marion was a Terrific ball player. Oh, my God this sucks. ------------------ The best is yet to come. Go Rockets!
Does anyone know how long he is out? ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club. [This message has been edited by Francis3 (edited February 25, 2001).]
Testing to see if you're banned or not I see. Also, Marion is going to be OK -- he'll be out 7-10 days. ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET [This message has been edited by Clutch (edited February 25, 2001).]
