I wouldn’t be shocked if the NBA expanded to Las Vegas, along with Seattle, while shifting two of Memphis, New Orleans or Minnesota to the Eastern Conference. There’s a brand new arena in Las Vegas and an appetite for professional sports now that the Golden Knights are doing so well and the Raiders are moving there soon. Plus, Silver has been at the forefront of expanding the legality of sports gambling. Just as I think the league is stupid for continuing to deny Seattle, I don’t think they’re dumb enough to be late to the party in Las Vegas. Although Mexico City is one of my favorite places on earth, I don’t think that the NBA would expand there just yet. From what I understand, the new arena there isn’t an a great location and the game still needs some organic growth in that market.
I remember them getting beaten down by MJ/Pippen/Rodman/kukoc back in the day. But the Reignman is one of the better nicknames ever.
Shawn Kemp seems the type to relive his glory days. He's probably been doing it since his plunge in 1998. At least he has the tapes to remind him.
