Shawn Kemp Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges

HOUSTON -- Former NBA star Shawn Kemp pleaded guilty to drug possession charges Thursday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Kemp was arrested in Houston July 21. Officials said less than 2 ounces of mar1juana was found in his vehicle.

Kemp told a Harris County judge that the drugs did not belong to him, but that he would take responsibility because it was in his vehicle.

He was sentenced to six months probation.

    offtopic...

I can guarantee you it will not work for one simple reason.

    pot is not addictive.

when I was a user...it wasnt unusual for me to quit for periods of months at a time...with zero ill effects.

no one I know that has quit using pot has ever experienced anyh adverse effects from quitting....no withdrawal symptoms..which is a defining part of being "addicted"

OT...Kemp was done anyway...waht does it matter?
