Seeing Kemp as an overweight 50 year old is jarring. He used to be an absolute monster. At his peak, he was up there with Vince Carter or Nique for dunking ability, power, and flair. I think he’s one of the most exciting in-game dunkers I’ve ever seen. And a really skilled player, too. Not just flash like a lot of guys today.
Its a shame they let Seattle move. They had just rebuilt the coliseum in 1997, but how quickly it became outdated. Also a lesson why you don't renovate old arenas unless you're MSG.
