I actually was in the middle of writing something somewhat thoughtful, then deleted the whole thing in favor of grandpa Simpson.
Her eyes give away her age a good bit. Just seems like a midget without the wonky proportions, who also huffs helium. I remember meeting a girl with a voice like that in high school, makes me wonder if it was a medical condition now
She just looks like a pageant 8yo to me. Props to the blind date guy for seeing the date through and not running out. Would have devastated that poor girl. I feel bad for her. Her love life is never going to be normal unless she meets someone and moves to the wilderness somewhere. Even if a normal guy could get over her appearance, they’re always going to be ostracized and the man vilified. I think her best bet is to find someone with a similar condition. That way they would get double-takes but at least be somewhat accepted in their community. I wonder if the mother smoked, drank or did drugs during the pregnancy. She has some mileage. Tough break.
She is letting TLC take full advantage of her. A good personality and good support group goes a long way.
Yea no one will touch that - even if it’s wholesome true love, everyone is going to assume it’s a hentai hybrid pedo fetish that is driving the attraction…tough break but wish her well
I didn't even mind when shows like Counting Cars, Pawn Stars, Forged in Fire, etc. came on, because I could still learn new things from the shows, but after a while, they pretty much all end up being regurgitated "plots" or become more about the "stars" of the show. I used to love them going through the stuff they brought into the Pawn Stars store... then it became more about "let's see how stupid we can make Chumlee look and how frustrated everybody around him gets!" Yeah... stopped watching. Don't get me started on The Curse of Oak Island ... ugh. lol.
How the hell is TCOOI even a thing? Yeah the only redeeming quality for the THC is THE History of Food, Games and other stuff they do on Sunday evenings now.
True, but that's still not going to solve the issues surrounding her love life. Furthermore...ehh, nvm.
There's an on-going joke between my friend and I about whether they've found anything on Oak Island yet. I always respond with something like "yeah... some wood... a button... and a coin.... the usual." Intersperse that with the occasional whack job theory, and that's pretty much the plot of every episode. That Island must be Swiss cheese by now. lol. I actually loved the show when it came on for the usual reasons. History, something I knew nothing about, and a scavenger hunt for clues, etc. But every episode became another episode of the same thing we just saw last week and I kind of gave up. Even on its Reddit subgroup, people joke about it. lol.
Yeah I don't even understand how an actual episodic show can be centered around Oak Island and then to have several seasons? They should have been able to dig up the entire island by now or at least send in some great ROV's.
