IMO he has to learn how to shoot to really lengthen his career. It's Ok if you can't shoot if you are a 20-year old 6'6" pg with great vision and great mobility. It's a completely different matter when you are robbed some if not most of your athleticism. Jason Kidd might be able to do it even to this day, but even he has learned some shooting efficiency so far. And Shaun Livingston ain't exactly Jason Kidd, great vision and the skills to use it to contribute to winning team don't necessarily go hand in hand.
