both wade and livingston are out for the rest of the season (presumably in d-wade's case) not more than a week or two after this gatorade commerical in which both are in airs on TV. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OYz604tRS10"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OYz604tRS10" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> kind of weird and disheartening for both.
I don't agree that people say Dirk should get this injury. But what I do believe is that if injuries like these are going to happen in the game. I would much rather have them happen to Dirk than some great players like Dwyane or players full of potential like Shaun or Tony Allen
Hadn't seen it... thanks. Man, those "He's a large man, Dwyane" and "Do it again!" lines cracked me up.
guy here in footy, had a similar injury after getting tackled and falling to the ground with his knee turning inwards, dislocating and doing all the ligaments...... he had one op straight after to fix the dislocation and the minor ligament, repair cartlidge damage and any bone damage, this was in august/september and then just last week, so 5 months later he has had the reconstruction, ie ACL op, he is expected back in 12 months.......when it happened they compared the injury to that of someone in a serious car accident, so possibly worse than Livingston and there was/is a chance he will never play again.......... so in short take your time shaun, my guess is he will be won't be back to close to 100% for 18months
Yeah, very very serious. Knee or any lower body joints injuries are very serious since those parts bear body weight, the healing takes considerably longer
