those of you who have ordered big ticket items online, can you schedule a shipment date? i don't want to order a large TV only to have the UPS man leave it on my porch because i'm at work. if i can get them to deliver on Saturdays, that would be perfect.
We have one in the office. It is pretty sweet. Samsung plasmas are hit or miss though, unlike the LCDs. Well, to a much further extent than their LCD's.
Got mine through Amazon, and that is a MUCH less expensive way to go, and shipping is usually free too, including bringing it in and setting it up. A local delivery service received the item from Amazon and then scheduled delivery, so it's really not any different than buying at a local store and arranging delivery that way.
if you order a big tv, they'll schedule, if you get a small lcd, they'll drop it off in front of your door.
