Sharking the Jump

Here's my concern, while loving the hope from developing season events -- if the Rox next ten games were home-and-homes with the Kings, Spurs, Mavs, Lakes (at reasonably full strength), and Wolves, how many would we, biased Rox fans, expect to win?

3, 4? Maybe. We may have a 6-seed worthy team but even if so that means playing a 3 seed -- likely any of the above except Sac in the 1st round?

Let's get to the playoffs. Then let's improve that much again to be worthy of title pretention.

 

I'd say we win 4. And that ain't so bad, actually. Because if you'd say 6... we'd be title contenders.

Two years from now, given reasonable improvement and a couple of additions... and I think Houston might just be elite.

 

"They done made Yao mad" is the funniest line i've heard for a long time. Using it on my signature lines.

 

When Yao averages more ppg than a mediocre starting SG, the Rockets will be playoff bound.

Very good post with much needed personality...I think we sharked the jump on Christmas Day against the Lakers, because the intensity seemed to just carry to the point of where the team is right now...
