I haven't seen anyone so bothered and bitter at having seen the other side win a political election. Poor basso.
So, I was flipping channels the other day and saw (barf) Palin, she used this term, hopey-changey. It's clear you live in your gramma's basement and need to open the window for some fresh air---breathing your own flatulence is killing your ability to think straight---but please tell me you're not quoting Palin and that this is some crap phrase that FAUX "News" is encouraging among its faithful?
Fox news' ratings trump those of the other networks by no small margin. clearly, their audience includes many who voted for Herr Professor Doktor Obama. why do you hate Obama voters and their chosen media?
Fox News' greatest ever rating was just over 6 million viewers. They average about 2.5 million in prime time. There are 304+ million people in the USA. To type, your conclusions here are based on assumptions which are demonstrably and clearly false. The total sum of Fox News viewers on any given night would amount to a barely noticeable fraction of the number of people who voted for McCain, much less a supposed sizable number of Obama voters. Again, this is a typical example of you building logical arabesques on the foundation of incorrect assumptions.
i'll see your arabesque, and raise you a Grand jeté: i never said their viewers represented a "sizable number of Obama voters." I did say that "their audience includes many who voted for Herr Professor Doktor Obama." quite a different proposition.
I think Basso posts while he's defecating. That's the only way he could get the inspiration to come up with all of these garbage threads and selective bolding. He must concentrate on the pot best, surrounded by a shrine of incompetent people like Bush and Palin.
Yet another example of how Krugman should stick to economics. Nothing Obama said was that bad. No reason to get all hysterical about it. By the way, JPMorgan was forced to take TARP, they didn't want to. Of course, you could argue that they would have failed without the government guarantees, but you could say that about a lot of companies.
that's just denial. bankers rule the world. banking and the economy really isn't so much left v right (more or less govt.), its the elite vs. the masses. The elite just use the political parties to bribe us one way or the other to distract us from their systematic organized theft.
So fundamentally, your are arguing that "a sizable number" and "many" don't mean the same thing? Awesome. Very Monty Python: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kQFKtI6gn9Y&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kQFKtI6gn9Y&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
fundamentally, i'm arguing something quite different, as spelled out in my post. you do know if you read it again, you'll understand, but still act like you don't, right?
It's going to be painful to watch the mental shape basso is going to be in after spewing his filth for 8 years
