I really don't care, tax them at 50%. Just tired of the same old act of you trotting out Buffet and Gates every time Obama's tax plan is being discussed.

So the answer is no - you wouldn't feel dirty. I don't think most other people would either.

obama leaning heavily toward socialism....get out of town

sadly, we are already way down that path. What's even more sad is that when people here this they actually cheer for it. the class warfare being shoved in our faces is disgusting

Class warfare? You must have missed the last three Republican administrations.

There will always remain a group of hardcore rightwing dead-enders willing to shout "SOCIALISM!!!!!" every time the government pays a bill or provides anything that it is supposed to.

These dead-enders aren't really worth trying to explain anything to.

We're going to get our panties in a bunch because Obama wants to raise taxes 3% on income over $250,000 in order to pay for a tax cut for people who make less?

Since the income tax was created, the rich have seen their tax rates fall by over 2/3 while the rest of the taxpayers have seen no net reduction in their tax rates.

    Class warfare indeed.

Well not from the very beginning since the original top bracket was around 7%. However, only a few years later the top rate was over 70%, then back below 30%, then over 70%, followed by over 80%, then over 90%, and then the steady march down.
