Shaq is crying, but the fact is Howard was going off on Cleveland in last years playoff matchup, and now Shaq can guard him without help. I would be suprised to see him with a 40 point explosion against them this year. And if the Magic do indeed have to double Shaq, that gives them a post presence, something they didn't have in last years matchup.
Dwight seems like the better and more humble person.. But on the court a Dwight hasnt shown he will ever be as good as Shaq was. Shaq was just pure dominating in his prime. Howard should be in his prime now but he can still be shut down and taken out of the game.
Dwight is an athletic freak....that's about it. As long as he's being guys that he's bigger than, he dominates. As soon as he plays Yao, Shaq or any center over 260lbs...he disappears. He's not close to being on Shaq's, David Robinson, Dream, Ewing, or Duncan's League. He can run and jump really high and in todays NBA....that makes him a star. Not saying he cant get better...he can, but right now....he's just bigger and faster than most of today's centers AND THAT'S NOT SAYING MUCH. LOL Shaq has a point....The Magic better hope they dont meet the Cavs in the playoffs this year
Better comparison Number of Championships in first 5 years Shaq-0 championships, 1 final appearance, and gold medal in Olympics Dwight- 0 championships, 1 final appearance, and gold medal in Olympics I'm not saying Dwight is better or will be better, but can't compare 19 years to 6.
I find it extremely unlikely that Shaq never participated in a double-team defending someone. More like run him over. Running around someone requires too much finesse for Shaq.
Dude, There is no comparison... Do you know how much better rookie Shaq was than Dwight is now? It is not even remotely close...
When someone like Yao shuts you down and owns you every time during a one on one matchup... you know you'll never be as good as Shaq ever was.
http://twitter.com/hasheemTHEdream i can see where shaq is coming from...young athletic center who plays for the magic and gives himself the superman nickname dwight may say its homage to shaq but i dont think it is. dwight is good enough to have his own nickname no need to try to take shaq
I remember seeing Hannah Storm back when the Rockets won their first 2 championships on NBC. She's hotter now then she was 17 years ago She had like a short chili bowl thing going on back then, but I agree with the other guy. Hot Hot Hot.
I did some research on Storm. Here's a little something you might not know. "Storm stayed in Houston for four years doing a variety of radio and television jobs, including hosting the Houston Rockets halftime and postgame shows and also hosted Houston Astros postgame shows on television."
is superman really shaq's nickname? i mean i could see if dwight named himself "the big [insert word]" or the diesel, but superman? i remember reggie miller shooting around in a superman shirt one time way back in the day. did shaq steal it from him? superman is too generic to be stolen.
