Why was Miller suspended 1 game? I didn't know he did anything.

Shaq's fist actually grazed the side of Miller's head. That guy should have gotten suspended 10 to 12 games. It's ridiculous. Anybody else and people would have been trying to run him out of the league. Imagine if Rodman had did that! The media would have lost their minds.

It all has to do with star power, which I'm sure you all know that by now. The reason they didn't suspend O'Neal 5 or more games is because he is one of the NBA's biggest attraction. It should be more but as we all know when you're one of the O'Neal, Jordan, or Carter's of this league you get off easy on everything.

I see how that would make sense, but everyone I have spoken to about it is angry about his only being suspended 3 days...So, in a way there are actually alienating their fans, aren't they?

The fans that are alienated by it are the intelligent ones. Over the past few years, the nba has seen fit to mass market the product to everyone and greatly diluting it in the process. That includes morons and kids(they now outnumber the real baskeball-savvy fans).....and how many kids are going to want their idol suspended for more than 3 games?

This crack smoker thinks that Shaq was punished too hard. Unbelievable. It that would have connected, Brad Miller would be pushing up daisies literally and Shaq would be in jail. If it was anyone else that played on any other team, they would have gotten 5 times worse penalty. If anything, they should have punished him worse because of the potential damage he could do to someone.

Someone mentioned earlier that Shaq is a p***y, you are damn right he is a p***y. Look at who he goes after, Brad Miller and Greg Ostertag. Wow, why not go after Oakley? He was the one talking **** before the game. Barkley wasnt scared of his ass, he gave him a spine buster. I was just waiting for him to give Shaq the people's elbow.
