Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought he got the T for staring down Ratliff, not for shouting?

Yao v Shaq will be great. Throughout the years, there have been some great center v center matchups, Wilt v Russell and Hakeem v every other center (Ewing, Robinson, Shaq) come to mind, but this has a different feel to it. Shaq is the "most dominant player"; Yao is more finesse. It's raw power v polished skills. Not only is it a clash of 7 ft titans, it's also two opposing styles of play; east meets west. This has the makings to become one of the greatest rivalries in the history of the NBA.

As much as we like to see jaw-dropping dunks and crazy cross-overs, there's something oddly captivating about seeing two giants towering in the post. The combination of footwork, power moves, fadeaways, etc, (not to mention about 600 lbs of meat) is just mesmerizing.

Here's hoping that Yao ends up on top!:)

Well here is the proof....quote taken from an archive from that game..

Speaking of Yao (the antidote for Rocket shooting woes), he did not have it going on tonight. Yao missed 8 of his first 10 shots and was so frustrated that he threw down a two-handed hammer jam in Theo Ratliff's face and yelled at him, drawing a technical for taunting.

It was a game against the Hawks ............YEI YEI !!!!!!!
