Dream was greater than Shaq without a doubt but Shaq is the 2nd best center I have ever seen. In his prime Shaq was the most physically dominating player I have ever seen.
They play a different kind of game. You can not say which is better base on styles. Shaq can score at will with 'beat you up', don't need fancy move.
You can say which is better because Dream did a lot more than score. You are right about Shaq beating the crap out of you.
