Shaqtestic can still ball. And he'll prove it this season. I think the combo of Mo-LBJ-Shaq and eventually CharlieV, they can have a great team.

now all the Cavs need is a decent defensive PF, and maybe a SG.

Thi sis all that needs to be said. I think the league can live with a jump shooting Lebron.

Charlie V is probably the next big target, and it sounds like he wants to go there too.

You know what I just realized, Kobe and Shaq each have 4 championships. If it wasn't for their ego problems these two would have a legit shot at 10 rings before the end of their careers and would go down in history as the greatest dynasty ever.

Even at retirement age Shaq is still a dominant low post player and top 5 center in the league. Kobe is just lights out right now in his prime.

Suns have a magic medical team. Shaq played more game last year than
any other year since 03-04. Can Cavs reproduce it?

Can someone explain to me how the Cavs NEED a star wing player? They've got this guy named Lebron on the wings that plays alot of minutes. All they need is a big wing defender to take pressure off of Lebron and let Delonte come off the bench (who seems to be very underrated here).

People need to realize that this Cavs team wasn't just skating by during the season. They were beating teams down. No, they did not just luck in to 66 wins. Shaq gives them the ONE thing they lacked, a post presence.

...and, as leebigez stated, they can easily get a veteran PF. If it isn't Sheed or Charlie V for the MLE, it could be McDyess, Brandon Bass, Donyell Marshall, Channing Frye, etc. There are plenty of guys out there who can space the floor at the 4 who can be had for the MLE or less.

He will move from Center to the Power Flopper position.

Yeah, but now he'll average 10 assists per game because he can drive and dish to a big man who can actually finish.

They need an efficient shooter on the wing. Their offense is too focused on isolation and driving.

Shaq has been extremely fortunate to have had played alongside so many elite wings. Penny, Kobe, Wade, LeBron... Imagine if Hakeem had been paired with Jordan, Reggie Miller, and Mitch Richmond in addition to his brief stint with Drexler.

Even an old Shaq is 10x the finisher than anyone LeBron has EVER played with. I don't think this trade makes them a lock for anything, but it will improve their chances.

Shaq said he hasn't had any verbal conversations with Lebron, but he's had many mental ones with him. Wow

For some reason, I don't think Cleveland is done...there might be another move in the works.
