However, I agree with your take mainly because with Shaq's bulk/weight, he is getting to the point in his career where he will be injury prone. Heck, I would not be suprised to see him retire after another season or two. Yao has 15 years ahead of him. If Shaq and Kobe couldnt get it done this year, then there is no way Shaq and Francis could next year.

I am patient. I am willing to wait 3 or 4 more years for Yao to develop and watch the titles roll in.

Shaq's longtime first girlfriend and childs mother graduated from U of H. Its not the one he's married to, but the 1st woman.

That 1st trade don't even match salaries ,so it doesn't matter.

Most NBA players do have a house in Texas cause there's no state tax or something like that. I know Jackie Carr, the former coach at Wheatly High School, he said that Shaq came down there a few years ago and worked out in the gym.
