We don't need Shaw as a mentor. We have some guys around here with pretty good credentials for that role. If we got Shaq, we would need him to plug the middle and share some minutes while Yao gets himself in shape. If he's willing to accept that role, and a reasonable 1-year deal, I would consider Shaq. I'm not that excited, but we need antoher true center. Regardless of who we draft, they won't be ready to play backup center this year.
