How about all go to Haiti... Pretty sure Kobe and Bron combined have more money than the entire country.

He wouldn't make it to the basket. The refs would keep calling fouls and he'd just be there shooting free throws. That would be kinda boring.

1-people vote on the player, just like all star game

    or
2-player with the most drunks or top dunks.

wow what league are you watching...dumbest comment ever....kobe was a ridiculous dunker...i'd say better than lebron and nate...go on youtube and watch his dunks...the guy did some sick dunks on dwight, deke, yao, wallace...and many many others...his all-star game dunks were sick..

but now neither carter or Bryant can get the elevation they used to have

shaq is stupid he should know theyre too old to compete that is why they try to get the young stars to compete in it like a lebron dwade and carmelo but they are nowhere to be found especially lebron backing out like a wuss after he said last year he would compete

Notice how he didn't include Dwight Howard on that list. Yet another subtle jab from Shaq at the player people sometimes compare him to. A point that Shaq clearly is appalled by.

Or the all stars can just donate half of their annual salaries straight up.

He's not appalled, he's jealous of the limelight DH has, and probably resentful because DH stole his superman schtick. Maybe DH should have started calling himself Shazam or somehting.

Not that this is worth debating but does a player as accomplished as Shaq really get jealous at the league and media's fascination with Dwight? I think not. It's when people start throwing around the comparisons and looking at Orlando Magic resumes is whenever Shaq starts to get chippy. I definitely detect more resentment and irritation than I do jealousy but maybe that's just me.

Kobe Bryant takes a pass on slam dunk contest

—Kobe Bryant is taking a pass on the slam dunk contest, no matter what Shaquille O’Neal has in mind.

Bryant nearly burst out laughing Thursday when asked about O’Neal’s idea that the Lakers superstar should appear in next month’s All-Star weekend dunk event with LeBron James(notes) and Vince Carter(notes).

What Shaq ought to do is donate a game check like Wade has done. If Wade can donate one game check ($177,000) I don't see why Shaq can't.
