    These are some enjoyable antics.

Bringing out the stars for this would be awesome, and the Haiti connection would be great too. A great event.

Carter and Kobe are too old to compete in a dunk contest now.

kobe has never been a great dunker IMO.

carter clearly doesn't have great elevation anymore.

lebron is a power dunker so even if he was in it i wouldn't expect anything other than a ton of dunks we have a million times.

So if LeBron would participate if VC and Kobe joins, why won't he just enter his name in now against the other competition?

They know Kobe and Carter won't be in it so they can easily say this. Both of them are dealing with injuries.

Screw Vince and Kobe. They've lost too much and are currently fighting off injuries, as it is. Lets get Jason Richardson, J.R. Smith, Josh Smith, and Andre Iguoldala back in it.

I think this is a tremendous idea. To make it even better, they should get Spud, Dominique, MJ, Dr. J, Larry Nance, and every former winner still living to attend.........then one by one they should walk out, start taking off their suit coats and ties, revealing their unis underneath, and everyone that is able should throw one down, after taking up a collection by phone, with each former champion waiting until he gets the donations from the audience to make his dunk for Haiti.

They really need to figure out some way to make this go down. Great idea, Shaq Daddy.

"My client." Man, Shaq is hilarious! I certainly don't have a problem with the idea, if the guys are healthy enough. Sounds like a lot of fun and it would help Haiti. They should have the fans contribute until they reach a "target" amount of money, then have the players and the league match it. Send the money to Haiti and give the fans a show. :)

i dont think kobe or carter could still throw down like they could before, but it wouldnt really matter. if their names were just entered it would generate a lot of buzz and get tons of viewers. thats all that matters. i say why not?

What a FB. As if these kind didn't have enough money yet. Even for charity they need to get half. I'd be scandalized if this happened and that haiti only got half..

I think the half to Haiti and half to the winner is a horrible idea.

These players have all the money in the world, why would they need more money when people in Haiti don't even have water ...
