Shaq went to high school at San Antonio Coles HS, but he was born in (I believe) New Jersey and moved around a lot as a kid.

The Internet Movie Database lists his birthplace as Waco, Texas.

I was born in San Antonio, though, so that makes up for Shaq not being born there. I'm pretty sure I'm just as famous as he is.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is from Waco as well...not sure if someone said that above. As is Steve Martin.

Actually Shannon grew up in Houston...I think she was born in Waco but actually grew up here.

I went to Baylor. We used to joke about losers who might go hit on high school girls while we were in college. That joke wasn't so funny anymore when I found out later that love hewitt was in high school in Waco while I was there!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Steve Martin is a very smart and talented man. But, I don't think Jennifer Love Hewitt, Destiny's Child, or Dennis Rodman did much for the collective IQ of Waco, TX.

(FYI -- I purposely avoided, and can't believe no one else pointed out, a certain resident of the nearby town of Clifton, TX.) [IMG]

It's just like any other town -- with the good, the bad, and the dumb. I don't think we can ever count actors or athletes as being representative of a city's population anyway.

In fact, when Rodman is in town, you will notice a definite cone of ignorance right around the Waco area.

I watched Tomcats earlier tonight, and I thought it was an okay movie. Not worth $7.25, but more a $4.00 matinee. I went in with low expectations after reading some reviews. I didn't find it that horrible. It had its moments both good and bad.

    Shannon Elizabeth is hot!!! [IMG]

I saw Tomcats at the matinee in McKinney yesterday, and it was only $2. I still feel like I was ripped off.

If I had been paid to see Tomcats, well I was, and I feel ripped off.

Some of the scenes didn't make any sense at all. I could do without those.

So, you're claiming that some of the scenes did make sense?

The whole plot seemed to be an effort to set up various jokes they thought would be funny, as if the writer(s) were sitting around saying "Wouldn't it be funny if someone ate a testicle?" and so they inserted the testicular cancer bit to set-up that joke. (And none of the jokes or plot points were set up very well, either.)

Guys....guys....Shanon said in an interview she didn't want to be a sex object. So, maybe we should quit treating her like one.

Ahh....screw that and her. She shouldn't have played with herself in "American Pie". She opened a lot of eyes with those scenes. And now she doesn't want to be known as a sex object??? Umm....hello? Is there anyone in there? Knock...knock...knock.

She will always be a sex object and a terrible actress for her choice of movies to act in...like she has any [IMG].

Her choice of movies is not very good.
But her looks sure are. [IMG]
