During a game between Tmac Allstars and Yao's hometown ballclub Shanghai Sharks there happened a retirement ceremony for one helluva player that never played for Shanghai.

    He was cried.

it's great that they honored one of their all-time greats. the rockets should do the same.

Lots of T-Mac fans in China. But can somebody explain to me what Lin's doing playing for Shanghai? [IMG]

I am going to go ahead and defend Tracy McGrady on this one.

I would cry as well if I played several seasons for several teams in the NBA and the only team that retired my jersey was the one in China.

I would love to see tmac elbow lin and all the tmac and lin fans fight and start trying to drop kick each other.

Yea, Chuck Hayes looks to be playing also. I wonder what's up with that?

    The joke is:
    That's not actually Lin

Good moment for TMac, but pretty bizarre.
You can tell he loved the game. We'll always wish his career had ended differently.
But if this makes the Chinese fans happy, more power to them.

That an obvious Photoshop-job. Two Lins and two Tmacs in the picture.

Easily top 10 player of all time in China. Behind Starbury and a host of other black players.

Jeremy Lin became 6'8" and learned how to dribble?

This is a testament to the impact that T-Mac had during his prime years. One of the most exciting players in the NBA to watch and one of the most prolific offensive talents all-time. T-Mac's greatness extends across oceans into China.

This is a testament that yao ming is the only reason why tmac has any fans in China.

I don't see them retiring any Ryan Bowen jerseys.

China loves TMac and he was a beast on the court until he got hurt. How did you like the Steve Francis and KMart years when we basically sucked?

With Yao Ming on the team, Steve Francis and the Rockets went out in 1st round.

With Yao Ming on the team, Tracy McGrady and the Rockets went out in 1st round.

With Yao Ming on the team, Artest and the Rockets went further.
