MW shane how do you study kobe

sb tough player he tries to make him work - war of attrition when he makes shots he looks like goat when he misses he looks good.

MW - kobe sceaming "He can't guard me" how do you handle that?

take the emotion out of it. only so much he can do. "by executing my gameplan I give my team the best chance to win the ballgame"

MW TK - Thanks shane best of luck.

sb - you guilted me into it glad to spend time with you guys

TK - we'll book you again next week

he could be on once a week - i did radio a long time I know who's a good guest

mw -shanes been a good guest for a long time. i can't believe he's 30.

    END

More proof that Kobe is a douche. He knows Shane isn't going to talk back, yet he keeps running his mouth anyway. What fun is talking smack if you are doing it by yourself.

    What a douche.

As eloquent and honorable as Shane is, would the league look the other way if he gave Kobe a hard foul towards the end of last night's game?

Hell no. Thats just the nature of the world. Doing the right thing doesn't always equate to winning. Let's hope our guys just keep the intensity up and play smart.

Did you notice that whenever PTI talked about this series, the Rundown would read "LAKERS" but now it says "HOU/LA." Now we exist to BSPN.

i think it's a REVERSE psychology. Kobe understands well that Shane can very well guard him. He had to yell it out to conquer his INNER FEAR. I think Kobe/Shane match up has a clear winner already.

It really is amazing how much respect we're getting on a national front because of all this. We've exposed the Lakers as being a soft team who needs to resort to cheap shots and thuggery to win against us. This really reminds me of the series between the Kings and the Jazz back in 2001 where the Jazz were finally exposed as being a dirty team who used underhanded tactics to beat the Kings. ESPN had this series marked as 4-1 Lakers, and morons like Scott Van Pelt and Mike Tirico were already discussing the Nuggets and Lakers before our series even BEGAN, but now they're forced to give us respect. The Rockets have earned every ounce of praise they are receiving, and tomorrow night is going to be BEDLAM in Toyota Center.

You could be right. I think it is because he is a class-less douchebag. Maybe we are both right.

it's because espn has got off the lakers bandwagon and is now focused more on Lebroncenter updates.

Lakers will not win a championship this year. Book it.

They cannot try what happened in the past couple of games with Denver or Cleaveland.

Exactly. He wanted to get in Shane's head and make him believe he cant guard Kobe, just so he would loose his focus like Artest did. If there is anyone in the league that can be a nightmare for Kobe, it is Shane Battier. Good thing Battier didnt loose it like Artest did in that regular season game, and last night.

i just hope between him and artest that can somehow wear him out.

if anything he will be too tired to go all the way. ill at least get a little satisfaction if kobe doesnt get another ring. that game last night was a bit much. just too much dirty play.

It's too bad that there aren't more NBA players like Shane. Instead we got the likes of trash-talking Lamar and UFC wannabe Fisher.
