Unless something too good to pass up comes along, I think it's safe to assume that the ROX are very satisfied with Battier and hope to keep him. Since his contract is coming off the books, what would be a fair offer? Some people consider him bad value at 7mil per year and I don't think he'll get that in his next contract, but I think that the Rox are definitely interested in retaining his services then gradually transitioning him into the coaching staff.

I say 3year at 5/4/3 would be good for all sides. Some teams might offer him more, but I would think that Battier loves this organization and prefers to stay here.

 

love his game. he plays within the offense and is a great team defender as well as individual defender. let's hope he retires as a rocket!
