It actually sounds like the beginning of a battle between Kawhi and what he's feeling to what the medical exams are showing.
“Whatever you and Uncle Dennis are good with, so are we. Just let us know. We won’t ask any questions!”
Ha. Kawliflower is a free agent this summer. He’s not risking it by coming back. Test probably show no tear and he has just gone home to BBQ with his uncle.
Kawhi will milk this injury as much as possible before signing with another frontrunner team next year.
You just know Tony Parker is out there somewhere muttering to himself about how he's played through much worse injuries.
Kawhi is the biggest thief in NBA history. He's definitely gonna milk this injury and look for his next good situation. Amazing how one postseason changes everybody's impression on a guy. A ton of things broke his way in 2019, and that one chip distracts people from all of the other evidence on what this guy really is.
If Robin Hood bestowed Canada with a title, you call him a saint. muhahah. He also helped with a title in San Antonio. No need to go ballistic on that, he is a mercenary for sure. I probably think he got some complex with injuries, he is agitated when it comes to injuries.
Too lazy to look up but i thought Kawhi was an UFA? If not, i assume he has a player option and will take it and rehab for a year and sign with a new team or get his full max with the Clippers next summer? In that scenario, i can easily see him not playing a single game next season and as much as i hate his game management and sitting, i think it's the smarter move to just sit it out and heal up for 2022. He just turned 30 a few weeks ago so he will be 31. It makes sense to not risk anything when his contract is going to be up, but at minimum, a late season pre playoff return would be smartest. Clippers should definitely take on John Wall now - again assuming that last year wont effect resigning Kawhi?
