and this year, it’s damn near everybody, and it’s happening to the stars

we haven’t even reached the conference finals yet, and it’s already a record

this doesn’t even include Murray who wasn’t an All-Star, but is still very important for Denver

Bron didn’t miss a game, but clearly wasn’t himself after the ankle injury

Marcus Morris was the better pick. He will prove it these next few games!

It used to be really bad years prior but acl has now become more of a modern day injury players can absolutely recover from in less than a year. It just sucks it knocks you out immediately in extended present time

Just becsuse these players happen to get injured this post season, MOST of those injuries were freak injuries that have nothing to do with fatigue. You are grouping them altogeter and saying thats the cause when it isnt true.

2909 soft tissue injuries in a 72 game season…2nd highest since tracking began behind only 17-18, a season in which 10 more games were played

my original post was simply this

u don’t need to be the best team to win the title this year, just be the team missing the least amount of your top players

u were trying to make it seem like the amount of stars or top players that have been injured is normal and happens every year…it’s not

All the playoff series should be 3 games. Make each game nightly instead of 2 games in 1 night, or 4 games in 1 night. Clippers had a 17 point game lead with 5:25 in 4th Qtr. when K.Leonard got injured. Blame Lue, who could of been the Rockets coach.

I mean we are in the second round of the playoffs, if Kawhi couldn't las the 5 minutes in the 4th, he aint lasting past the WCF either.

Did Harden even play while being a Rocket this season? :p

I think we should all appreciate Keith Jones for keeping him healthy.

You are entitled to your opinion.

I am sure James Harden, Anthony Davis, Mike Conley, Kwahi Leonard, Chris Paul, Kyrie Irving, Joel Embiid, Jamal Murray, Donovan Mitchell, Jaylen Brown, LeBron James, D'Andre Hunter, JJ Reddick, Serge Ibaka, Dante DeVecenio and Danny Green all are just fluke injuries and not related to the short rest period.... I am sure all of these players injured over the last 3 weeks are a coincidence.

I am sure LeBron James relating it to the shortened off season doesn't mean anything at all.

It's probably impossible to prove definitively one way or the other, but there is compelling evidence and reasons to think that the condense schedule, couple with shorten off-season and daily testing (which may reduce/interrupt players rest) had a significant impact on player injuries.

Wasn't there a report from espn or something that attributed the increase in injury to the schedule and shorten off-season, which the NBA disagreed with.

Handsome YouTube doctor believes that Kawhi could have been injured on the play, but does not understand why there is confusion as to whether or not Kawhi tore the ligament as a torn ACL will cause serious swelling of the knee and the tear is apparent in an MRI scan. He said it may not be a tear, which means that Kawhi could return. What we can't predict is how careful Kawhi is going to be with his knee or whether he'll risk further injury.

ok if you think coming down on someones foot or fracturing your wrist is about fatigue idk what to tell you. a lot of these players have had issues before this season. there isn't much to suggest they wouldnt still get hurt if it was 82 vs a condensed 72. many of these guys load managed throughout the season so why blame the schedule ? isnt that the point of load managing ? the playoff schedule is the same as it always is.

only the teams that went deep in the bubble like the lakers really have a complaint IMO. they had like 5 months off before the bubble but almost half werent even invited and over half of those were gone by the end of the first round.

also its not like the league wanted this covid forced it. everyone had to make sacrifices. players agreed to it because they wanted their money. well they got it. i don't like injuries any more than anyone else but if you want to complain and blame anyone blame China LOL

don't forget wearing the masks...wearing these air altering, obstructive and suffocating monstars is not fun, its a constant nuisance, its a punishment on the body and cant be good for your health...no way...we are not designed to breathe that way...and breathing is vital to our well being and health
