The Rockets did the early hit job on Harden... we know the Celtics did claiming they they’re “appalled at what Harden has done”... Riley did what he always does... shows no interest, tries to rip off the other team, then leaks the Heat are no longer in negotiations and then later returns to negotiations with a better offer... as for Morey yes the scuttlebutt is that some of it is Daryl.

In the 70's, the Rockets used to practice at HBU which I watched as a student there. I remember one practice when Cliff Meely (RIP) and Jack Marin started punching each other, both landing some pretty good blows, especially for basketball players. It was ironic happening at a Baptist university.

Kind of tired of this whole Harden thing. Harden is best player for us but rather just get the trade out of the way. Hopefully we can get someone that would be good along side Wood.

    Look at page 1...

Teammates probably calling him out because his attitude isnt right. He doesn’t want to be here.

    That’s my guess..

To be honest I really hope the Rockets don't deal Harden. I want to see an angry Harden play and see if that might be the type of fire that could aid in a stronger playoff run. Some people perform better with a chip on their shoulder. Likewise for Wall and Boogie. One has to prove the worth of his contract. The other wants to earn that big contract and show he can still play at an all-star level. That's three players on this team with a chip on their shoulder that could maybe propel for some good chemistry if they just give it a season. I still think if Harden is truly serious about winning a championship, whichever team he could be dealt to won't give him a better chance than just staying with the Rockets. He'd have more leverage next year with another year off his contract and would still be in his relative prime.

Lol, seriously, things get heated when playing ball all the time.

I’ve seen many a cussing someone out, shove, slap, or punch, but yelling and throwing a ball in someone’s direction is some bombshell, cataclysmic event at an NBA practice?

Shams could write a “practice got heated” article every week about a different team...

Shams should be ashamed of himself for attaching his name to such a non story.

    Embarassing.

worst yet, he even made it the headline of his article, yet in 17 short paragraphs that composed this article, what Harden did in practice only took up 1 of them...

Is this The Athletic, or TMZ?

He's paying his dues so he can continue to have access to sources. Someone ordered him to write this in exchange for being the first report in breaking news. It's not big deal

At least he's not as bad as Woj who was writing character assasinations when he was with Yahoo.

I don't disagree. Shortball was a big gamble and it didn't pay off. It didn't help the team to know it's coach was on the way out and it's obviously at the heart of so much friction. This is why you don't do that. It's sad how many people are dumping on Harden now, I get the perception is bad but he's not the cause of it.
