That's the issue. Can you blame Harden? The offensive scheme is built around his 1-1 abilities. Mchale's system was very similar but sloppier and less organized. The failures during the Mchale and MDA years hopefully resonates with Fertita and Morey in some shape or form in that Money Ball simply does not work nor does MDA's stagnant high screen and roll, no off ball screen system. Despite all these rumors of tension can you really blame a guy who was raised in 2 systems that featured him as the primary playmaker initiating the offense with an isolation high screen and roll dribble drive or dribble pull up 3? Paul isn't the problem and neither is Harden. The problem is Morey ball and MDA. I love Houston but I am afraid that as long as they stick with this philosophy of shooting volume 3's and featuring stagnant offensive scheme they will never win the championship.

I think the common denominator here is a hall of fame talent coming here and declining rapidly after only one year. In their mind they are still the same high level player, but it doesn't translate on the court. So they get upset when their role lessens.

Saw it with Tmac as well.

Meh. Dwight Howard is a whiny diva and CP3 has ZERO ROOM TO TALK.

Be F’ING AGGRESSIVE and stop forcing Beard to carry your bum ass...

If CP3 is talking, he should be embarrassed. He played like a small child against GSW.

The problem is, you can't be aggressive when you're washed.

If you're talking about Dwight Howard then it's worth mentioning he's had struggles everywhere he's been since Orlando. And CP3 knocked heads with Blake. I'm not saying it's impossible Harden is to blame here, but he hasn't exactly been teamed up with the easiest stars to get along with from all accounts.

It feels like the media is kicking the Rockets while they are down.

Both Hall of Famers at the end of their prime wanting more touches and control of the plays. Too bad we keep getting these stars right at the end of their productive years.

Makes you really appreciate how lucky the Warriors and LBJ have been to be able to play with superstars for consecutive years in their early prime
