Oh, this makes me smile ear-to-ear to add onto Lebron's legacy -

 

The Westbrook trade was terrible.

But, I would actually say LeBron has a decent track record as a GM. He's gotten a championship for each of the 3 organizations he's played for. That's pretty rare. Typically, he builds teams completely around him. His biggest error this time was expecting AD to be healthy and eventually takeover as the top guy - and of course believing that all his contemporaries would have as much left in the tank as he did.

 

I thought it was top 10 protected

 

That's literally what makes Pelinka the worst GM in the NBA. He makes decisions based on stats from half a decade ago.

 

Top 10 protected in the trade to Memphis. The Lakers didn't put any protections on their AD trade. Peak stupid.

I agree, thinking back the Lakers got super lucky with the Bubble, this was the only season AD was healthy, because he had time to rest, and play fewer games into the playoffs.

Also Lebron might be over estimating his own ability to carry a team in the west. Other than the Bubble season, the Lebron Lakers has missed the playoffs twice, and finished 7th seed once (1st round exit).

 

Kind of hard to feel like they disappointed when after bringing in Melo and Westbrook I was almost certain they would be bad. I would’ve been more surprised if they were good.

I recall making a post that if LeBron can win a championship with Westbrook he’d have my vote as the greatest player of all time.

 

While everybody is playing the blame game on the Lakers' disastrous season, I've seen very few fingers pointing at Jeanie Buss. Imagine if it happened in Houston and how much heat Tilman would be taking from the fans.

 

Because that season already happened, 2019-2020.

 

Westbrook is the hot crazy girl that crashes your car, steals your wallet, sets your house on fire while you are sleeping and takes a **** in your refrigerator….. don’t fall for the looks.

Westbrook so far chased Durant out of OKC…. Helped chase Paul and Harden out of Houston…. now he has sunk LeBron and AD. Stole an MVP from Harden…. Cost Pat Beverly a lot of money… half the damn league has been hurt in some way by this man.

He has basically destroyed/altered half like 4-5 of the top 8 players in this era….
